The history of Girona, Temps de Flors is also the story of young entrepreneurs who in 1954 decided to organize a first edition of what they called the Provincial Flower Exhibition Competition in the Saló de Descans of the Municipal Theatre. The good response and interest of the people who visited that space at the time pushed them to carry out an event that has become the great international festival of Girona, an activity that attracts people from all over the world.
