WE ARE ALL ARTISTS
Art isn’t just found in paintings, music, or sculptures—it’s present in how we live, create, and express ourselves daily. Every choice you make—how you cook, dress, work, solve problems, or interact with others—is a form of artistic expression.
Life is a canvas, and expressing yourself in it is your art.
When you tap into your inner artist, you see the world with new eyes. Inspiration surrounds you, revealing beauty and meaning in places you once overlooked. It is as if you suddenly see beauty in people and the world around you.
It's as if you’ve unlocked a universal energy where creativity flows effortlessly, and new ideas emerge. In those moments, your mind quiets. You are no longer resisting. You allow your imagination to take over, breaking down barriers and inviting you to explore new possibilities.
Creativity can be as simple as finding the key to happiness in a child's smile or seeing beauty and purpose in a flower's architecture. Even the complexity of a busy city can show how adding green can enhance health and cooperation.
There are countless doorways to inspiration. Humor dissolves complexities and allows a more light-hearted view of life or a situation. Pain can be another, pushing you to find new solutions and ways to grow. The key is to remain open to these moments and let them guide you toward creative fulfillment.
The more you accept and connect to your inner artist, the more you’ll find yourself in a state of flow—where tasks feel effortless, and life unfolds more easily.
Allow your creative spirit to lead. You will discover a more profound sense of joy, fulfillment, and connection with the world around you. Your life is a masterpiece in the making.

We Are All Artists
Art, Like Beauty, Can Be Physical And Be
As Thin As The Skin, And Still Be Art…..
Art, Like Beauty, Can Be Profound And
Be As Deep As The Soul, And Still Be Art….
And Art, Like Beauty, Can Be Natural
And Grow From Within The Heart Of The
Hidden, And Still Be Art….

Sun Drop
Atlas, a term meaning a book of maps, takes on a metaphorical meaning within this double exposure, titled “Sun Drop.” Capturing the interplay of light and texture, the image speaks to the journey we undertake—mapping paths, discovering meaning, and finding beauty in the everyday.

Time in a Jar
It is said that to know where one is going, they must first know where they came from. This sentiment guided the creation of this double exposure, featuring my great-great-grandparents and an Atlas jar. The layering of history and memory embodies the enduring connection to our roots, preserved like treasures in a jar of time.

Banister Bathed in Light
As the light spills across the banister, it beckons toward the stories etched within the old courtroom above. Captured on a whim while leaving the Van Buren County Historical and Heritage Museum in Spencer, TN, this image bridges past and present—a reminder that history is not merely preserved in artifacts, but in the spaces we inhabit and the light we carry forward.

I have been working on a project as of late that focuses entirely on different species of moths. I decided to do this because many people notice butterflies, but moths are in the same family and may not get noticed as much because they are nocturnal animals. It has been an exciting project for me.

La Sardana. Joan Maragall.
No és la dansa lasciva, la innoble,
els uns parells d'altres desaparellant:
és la dansa sencera d'un poble
que estima i avança donant-se les mans.
It is not the lascivious dance, the ignoble,
some couples others unpairing:
it is the entire dance of a town
that loves and moves forward holding hand.

In this illustration, I tried to show a connection between the busy world of a big city and the peaceful life in the countryside. It's a dystopian world, I know, but in art, anything is possible.

On the other hand, this image shows the child alone on a street in Mariupol in Ukraine amid the devastation of war, the real world we unfortunately live in due to the ambition of many rulers for territory and power.

This last image is how I would like things to be, a world where we could live in Peace!

The first, is my first painting. Inspired by a stripper, I rolled on the canvas, using my body to mix and spread the paint. Then I used copper paint to accent the piece.

The second is the shipwreck, named First Try, taken in Kitimat BC. As artists we have many first tries, and we persevere.

Lastly, I find art in nature all the time. This piece of log reminded me of Van Gough’s Starry night. Nature is an inspiring artist indeed!

Each season is special in its own way, in summer we see the greenery of forests and lush flowers in the fields. Autumn pleases us with lush bright colors. Spring gives hope. And winter inspires us to go outside in the cold in search of magical images.
