The City Hall of Barcelona is the building and headquarters of the Barcelona City Council. It is located in the historical center of the city, in Plaça de Sant Jaume, opposite the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya. Its construction has taken place for several centuries. Its main façade, located in Plaça de Sant Jaume, dates from the year 1847; Its origin, however, dates back to 1369, the year in which the Saló de Cent was started.
